The exciting Round Robin matches of the Brunswick Ballmaster Open were bowled in Tali in front of a packed crowd. The excitement was there until the end. The TV matches feature three Finns and Italy’s Antonio Fiorentino.
In group A Jarno Lahti and Antonio Fiorentino redeemed their places in the top four. Jarno won five out of seven matches and Antonio won six. Lahti reached the win of the group with a final score of 279. Jarno’s score for the 15 games with bonuses was 3765 and Antonio’s was one point less. Next in the group were James Blomgren and Markus Lahti.
In group B, the battle for the TV games was tighter. Parker Bohn bowled a 300 point series in the Round Robin but he eventually finished sixth in the group. Last year’s winner Jesse Kallio with a score of 3718 and 2019 winner Joonas Jehkinen with a score of 3660 bowled their way to the TV. They both won five out of seven matches. William Svensson and Pyry Puharinen were next in the group.
Kallio will face Fiorentino and Lahti will meet Jehkinen in the semi-final. The winners will advance to the final. Both the semi-finals and the final are one game matches.
