Squad 18: Parker Bohn III bowled to the win of the squad

USA’s Parker Bohn III was the strongest in Saturday morning’s squad. He scored 1412 and was the only player in the squad to score over 1400. Bohn is strongly heading to the finals as he is ranked 32nd before the final preliminary qualification set. Top 38 finishers from the qualification are going to the finals in addition to quota places.

Parker started his game with respectable scores 258 and 257. This was followed by a weak moment and the third set was 179. However, he did not lose his grip and after this he scored 258, 227 and 233 in his last three games. This is why Bohn will most likely be seen in the final.

Parker was in good spirits when the result for the final was most likely made.

-In the last games I tried to keep my bowling simple and I managed to do that,” he said.

Parker has been coming to the Ballmaster Open for years. This year he is in Finland with his son Brandon. Brandon is also fighting for a spot in the finals.

Before the final preliminary squad, the cut-off for the top 16 is 1448. For the final 38, the cut-off is currently 1406, for squads 1-8 it is 1395, for squads 9-13 it is 1397 and for squads 14-16 it is currently 1400. It can be stated that the last squad will be very interesting. Last squad will start at 14 o’clock.
