Squad 17: Alex Joki made his way to the final

Friday night’s squad was a full squad with 72 players. The result level remained as high as usual. Alex Joki of Sweden won the squad. He is going to join the final with Teodor Samuelsson and Gaetan Mouveroux.

Alex Joki got his game going in Friday night’s squad and scored well throughout the game. The Swede took the lead with his last two big scores of 290 and 262. A final score of 1487 will probably be enough for the top 16 as he is currently in fifth place.

Alex Joki made his way to the final for the first time in his career.
-“I finally made it to the final here after years of trying,” he said.

He described the tournament as fantastic.
-“A great bowling center and a great tournament with a great atmosphere,” said Joki.

Teodor Samuelsson bowled to the second place in the squad with 1449 and Gaetan Mouveroux was third with 1425 points. These three players will be seen in the final. Linus Boström who bowled fourth in the squad, scored 1407 and it is very close to whether it will be enough for the final.

At the moment the calculated final limits are: top 38 1409 points, rounds 1-8 1397, rounds 9-13 1397 points and rounds 14-16 1407 points. On Saturday there will be two squads at 10 & 14 o’clock, followed by a desperado before the final.

Eliisa Hiltunen and Miikka Vaarala won the 300 extras.

After the Friday evening session, the 300 and no300 extras finals were played. There were lots of players in both finals. Eliisa Hiltunen won the no 300 extra and Miikka Vaarala won the 300 extra. Hiltunen earned 300€ and Vaarala 1000€.
