Squad 7: No new finalists

Morning session on Monday was focused on female bowlers. However there was no big rush, as there were 27 players and only 10 of them were women. Timo Alho was responsible for the best result of the squad.

The result level was modest compared to previous heats, as the heat was won with a score of 1360 which is not enough for the final competition. Timo Alho bowled for the win of this set. He wasn’t satisfied with his game.
– The reaction just wasn’t enough, Timo stated.

Alho doesn’t believe that he would participate in this year’s tournament again.
– I’m unlikely to play again because I don’t think I would make enough strikes. The top three women were well-known national team players. The best was Ani Juntunen with her score of 1292, the second was Emma Palermaa with score 1278 and the third was Peppi Konsteri with 1211 points. All women’s results have a handicap of 48 points.
