Squad 2: Mika Koivuniemi bowled to the top of the tournament

Friday and the second squad of the tournament was an early bird round with a total of 64 bowlers.

There were no less than four players in the set who had a BM-open victory under their belts. There were Olli Tiainen, Jouni Helminen and Joonas Jehkinen, who each have one tournament win, as well as four-time winner Mika Koivuniemi.

Koivuniemi was responsible for the best result of the squad, with his first performance this year he played a great result of 1449. Mika played consistently well the whole game, as all sets were between 224 and 258.

Joonas Jehkinen, the first best player in the squad, bowled for the second place with a score of 1427.

The only 15-year-old Estonian junior girl Kaisa-Ly Lee was responsible for the surprise of the round with a result of 1409 (hdp. 48). He started the last series with eight strikes and the audience was already waiting, whether the first three hundred game of the tournament would come. But it was not seen yet.

These three scores are enough to final competitions.
