On the second game of the squad, organizers were asked to see lane 35, as there was question about lane dressing on that lane.
During squad we couldn’t be sure if there was something wrong with it as first players didn’t inform organizers anything about it.
When studying after squad we could draw conclusions that the lane dressing was for some reason different from other lanes in the alley.
We can’t be sure what has happened, but we could rule out human error and malfunction of lane machine.
Best theory is that bumpers on lane 35 were in the wrong position and that would have made lane machine move on the lane differently.
That could have left lane cleaner on the lane which then would have dissipated oil from the lane abnormally.
We ask bowlers who feel they have been affected by the situation to contact the tournament organizer.
