Petteri Salonen bowled to the victory in the IHC

The 2025 IHC winner is Petteri Salonen. He defeated Alex Joki 228-211 in the final.

Petteri Salonen went from victory to victory on Sunday and took the 7000€ first prize. The final progressed evenly until the halfway point, after which Salonen made strikes repeatedly and when Joki couldn’t respond to them, Salonen bowled his way to victory.

Salonen was emotional after his victory, as this was his first international cash tournament win.
– It has been a long-term dream for me to win an international cash tournament. I have been second on the European Tour three times. I am really happy about this, Salonen said.

In the semifinals, Joki defeated Nicolas Carter 253-199 and Salonen defeated Juho Rissanen 201-199.

In the 300-extra replay, Pyry Puharinen first knocked down eight pins, to which Alex Joki responded with nine, and thus the Swedish Joki received a 2000€ prize for winning the 300-extra.
