Squad 13: Tim Stampe was the best on Saturday morning with 1318

The results in the second last squad of the IHC were pretty moderate. The best result of the squad was bowled by Tim Stampe from Denmark, 1318.

Tim Stampe’s game was a steady grind from start to finish. He didn’t make a single bad game, but none of them were really great either. The lowest game was 204 and the best 235, so the difference in his games was only 31 points.

Stampe didn’t go out to celebrate, although it is pretty certain that he goes to finals.
– I hope my score will be enough, but there is still one squad left, so you can never be sure.

Stampe, who now played his third performance, played with urethane at the beginning and reactive at the end, like many other players.
– At the beginning I tried to play a simple game with urethane. At the end I tried to play more from the middle with a reactive ball,  he said.

The second in the squad was Roni Leskinen, 1304, but he already has a better result. The third was Sweden’s Carl Eklund, who so far made his best game in this year’s tournament with his 1299 result.

Before the last squad, 1296 points are needed to the top 41 and 1369 points to the 14th, i.e. step 2.

The limits for the B-finals are currently: 1189 for the youth, 1267 for the general series and 1173 for the seniors.

The last squad of the preliminary competition starts at 13:00.

The first part of the B-final at 17:00.
