In the IHC Saturday first squad the score level was lower than in yesterday’s early bird set. The best score of the squad was bowled by Simon Tissarinen, 1341 points. The squad also had special prizes for bowlers with an average of less than 185.
Simon Tissarinen bowled very strongly at the start of the game and after three games he had a total of 743 points. After this Simon wasn’t able to score big points anymore but he took the squad win with a score of 1341. He is currently seventh in the competition. The second best of the squad was Risto Partinen who finished with a score of 1282 and Henry Laine was third with 1275 points.
The squad had special prizes for the three best players with an average of less than 185. The best was Marika Näivö with a score of 1131, second best was Jenni Stenroos, 1123, and third best was Lilli Palermaa, 1097. Näivö was awarded with a bowling ball and Stenroos and Palermaa were awarded with gift cards.

Tissarinen who bowled the squad win didn’t seem to be too happy after the game.
– The beginning went well but there were difficulties at the end and I couldn’t solve those problems, he said.
Yesterday Simon bowled a score of 1182 so compared to yesterday he made a huge improvement anyway.
– I played with Purple Hammer the whole game so in hindsight I should have switched to the softer Purple earlier.
Tissarinen will also play in the next set.
– I have to try to improve for the next set, he said.

The third set starts at 15:00. There are special prizes for young bowlers.
